FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The Young Republicans of Northeast Alabama will be hosting a fundraiser tomorrow (May 27) in the Fort Payne City Park. According to organizer Cole Wagner, the group will have anywhere between 150 - 200 pounds of crawfish, and some special guest speakers!
House Majority Leader Rep. Nathaniel Ledbetter, Secretary of State John Merrill, Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle (Candidate for Governor), and Congressman Mo Brooks (Candidate for U.S. Senate) will be addressing the crowd. Brooks is expected to speak at 5:30 pm.
The event is open to the public and will feature family fun on Memorial Day Weekend. There will be live music, fresh seafood, a bounce house for the kids, and cornhole!
Admission will be $20 for adults, with children & veterans being free. The event will be free to everyone after the crawfish runs out. Membership not required to attend.
