FORT PAYNE, Ala. — Earlier this week, workers broke ground on Fort Payne's new Applebee's location. The franchise will be located on Airport Road, in front of Dunham's Sports.
It's estimated to be complete by mid-summer; around a year from when it was first announced last summer. The restaurant will provide locals, as well as travelers from the interstate, with good food at affordable prices. Most importantly, the new business will provide jobs and revenue for the City of Fort Payne.
The area immediately surrounding the new location is also home to favorites such as Cracker Barrel, Santa Fe, Ruby Tuesday's, and Huddle House; providing an ever-growing selection of locations to eat in Fort Payne.
