TOKYO, Japan-- The 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, which were delayed by the pandemic last year, came to a close on Sunday night.
The Summer Olympics featured over 4,600 athletes, representing 206 Olympics Committees.
The United States led the Olympic medal count with (39) Gold, (41) Silver, and (33) Bronze.
The next Olympic Games are set to occur in Beijing, China from February 4 through February 21, 2022, with 109 events.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in Paris, France from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
