Congratulations to the Fort Payne Seven from Fort Payne High School for holding on to their title and becoming the Real World Design Challenge State Champions for the fourth year in a row!!
What a fantastic achievement by these bright young students! I was pleased to host the team and their teacher for an awards ceremony earlier this week in my Capitol office.
The team will now begin working on the national challenge to compete at the next level. I am so proud of what these students have accomplished and of the school administration's commitment to STEM education and real world application.
