DEKALB COUNTY, ALA.-- The 17th annual Alabama Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday will begin on Friday, July 15 at 12:01 a.m. and will end on Sunday, July 17 at midnight.
This holiday allows shoppers to save money as they purchase back-to-school supplies, clothes, and computers.
Clothing, which is under $100 per item, is included in the tax-free event.
School supplies that are under $50 or less, are also included in the event.
Computers, software, and computer supplies are included if the price per item is $750 or less.
