FORT PAYNE, Ala.—Vintage 1889 will be hosting Soundstage Open Mic beginning this Saturday. The admission is free and the event is for all ages. Food and beverages will be served. Performances begin at 7 p.m. and last until 10 p.m.

Every Wednesday a winner will be selected from the open mic and will be the “Featured Artist” for the showcase, which will be announced at a later date. The winner of the showcase will receive a live recording and professionally edited promotional video along with a performance spot at Third Saturday Sunset in downtown Fort Payne.

There is plenty of time to win because this will be happening every month. All genres are welcome and original music is preferred, but not enforced. For more information, call Vintage 1889 at 256-845-3380.
