RAINSVILLE, Ala. — Northeast Alabama Community College cordially invites the public to attend activities in celebration of all veterans. November 7th through November 10th is Veteran Appreciation Week on campus. Below is a list of the daily activities.
Everyone is welcome to join us in celebrating all veterans for their service to our country!
Monday November 7th
Flags will be placed on the front lawn in honor of our student veterans.
Kahva will serve free coffee to students who show their military ID or Kahva gift certificate. There will be a Bake Sale in the Student Center from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Proceeds go to help a local veteran in need.
There will be a Silent Auction in the Student Center from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Proceeds go to help a local veteran in need.
Tuesday November 8th
The Bake Sale continues in the Student Center from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Proceeds go to help a local veteran in need.
The Silent Auction continues in the Student Center from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Proceeds go to help a local veteran in need.
Wednesday November 9th
The Silent Auction continues in the Student Center from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Proceeds go to help a local veteran in need.
Red, white, and blue lapel pins to wear will be available in the Financial Aid Office or from Chasley Bellomy.
NSVA (student veterans) meeting in the Student Center at 1:00 p.m.
Thursday November 10th
A reception will be held in the Lyceum at 10:00 a.m. honoring our student and community veterans. Everyone is encouraged to attend this special reception.
