FORT PAYNE–The Lions Club will host a free lunch on Saturday, August 9, 2025. The event will be held at the Tom Bevill Center in Rainsville from 12-2 p.m. Featured guest speaker  is Timothy Cuneio.  

Cuneio was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa (RP) when he was 12 years old. Throughout his life, he has continued to be proactive—never letting his visual impairment define him or hold him back. He worked for many years for an optical company making glasses and helping others see better while his vision continued to deteriorate. In 2018, he found Leader Dogs for the Blind and has since completed the Orientation & Mobility and Guide Dog programs. Timothy is now a co-host of Leader Dog’s taking the lead podcast and a Leader Dog Ambassador.

Residing in Winder, GA with Leader Dog Glacier—Timothy shares his story with people across the country.
