DeKalb County Schools 2015 Summer Programs
3-12 Credit recovery Summer School
Location: Plainview High School
ACCESS/Credit Recovery for qualifying DeKalb County students grades 9-12 who have failed a class.
Students in grades 7-8 must pass the final comprehensive exam to receive credit.
Cost:
- summer school for grades 9-12 is $200.
- summer school for grades 3-8 is $100.
- Payment must be made by May 29, 2015.
- Checks should be made payable to the DeKalb COunty Board of Education. No Refunds.
Regular attendance is required until the successful completion of Credit Recovery and/or summer school requirements. Students with excessive absences and tardy's (two or more) will be dismissed from summer school.
Bus:
- If enough students participate, there will be a north bus route and a south bus route.
- Contact your local school for pick-up and return locations and times.
Breakfast/Lunch:
- We plan to offer breakfast/lunch at no cost to summer school students.
- Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:00 am each day.
- Lunch will be served 11:30-12:00 pm.
Dress:
- Students will follow the Code of Student Conduct and Student Handbook.
Discipline:
- Any violation of the Code of Student Conduct will be subject to immediate dismissal with no refund or fees.
*7th & 8th grade can only receive one credit.
