IDER, Ala. — According to DeKalb County Superintendent Jason Barnett, Ider High School will dismiss today, February 4, at 10am.
In a statement, Barnett said:
"This morning upon arrival [at] Ider school, the staff noticed there was little to no water pressure. The Maintenance Department was immediately sent to make repairs. However, upon finding the location of the leak the repair is anticipated to take four hours at a minimum. Due to the absence of water for the bathrooms, main areas, etc. Ider School will be dismissing at 10:00 today. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. Thank you."
