IDER, Ala.— The Ider Rescue Squad would like to invite all local fisherman to participate in a benefit bass tournament on April 9th. Anglers will launch at Safe Light, and the weigh-in will be at the Bait, Tackle, and Grill at Goose Pond at 2:00 pm. The entry fee is $100.00 and all proceeds go to support the rescue squad. The first place prize is $1500, with cash prizes being awarded to tenth place. There will also be a “Big Fish” prize, with a ten dollar entry fee and a 100% pay back.
