HENAGAR, ALA.-- The City of Henagar will host a Town Hall Meeting on June 7, beginning at 5:00 pm at the Henagar Community Center. 

A perspective company is considering building a medical cannabis plant in the Henagar Industrial Park, which will create 200 jobs.

The Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission (AMCC) was established during the 2021 legislative session and was signed into law by Governor Kay Ivey.

The City of Henagar invites Henagar residents to attend the Town Hall Meeting. Company representatives will be present to answer questions and help residents learn the benefits of this perspective new industry in the City of Henagar.
