lim Chickens will be making their grand opening in Albertville on Monday, July 22.

Slim Chickens will be operated by experienced restaurateurs Alan Renfroe and Dana Price. Renfroe and Price plan to bring delicious fried chicken and Southern-inspired sides to Albertville. With the new Slim Chickens location, it will make a positive economic impact with 50 new jobs being created for the Albertville community.

Price believes the growth of Albertville and its market will make it a great place to put a Slim Chickens.

“We think it’s a really good market. Albertville is growing. We see a lot of growth in Albertville and we wanted to be a part of that growth,” Price said.

Price, an experienced restaurateur, grew up in the food industry.

“I grew up in the food industry. My dad had restaurants when I was growing up in school, and when I got out of school, I went into the restaurant industry myself. That is what led me getting into Slim Chickens,” Price said.

Slim Chickens is known for their great chicken, wings and sauces.

‘Slim Chickens’ is a better brand for chicken. We have high quality chicken tenders, wings, and sandwiches. We have 250 total Slim Chicken restaurants, and this will be our 12th in the state of Alabama,” Price said.

Price is excited to be opening up a Slim Chickens in Albertville and hopes the community will give them a try.

“We are very excited about Monday’s opening. We think Albertville is going to enjoy our product and we expect a high volume of sales. This new Slim Chickens will also create about 50 new jobs for the community,” Price said.

Slim Chickens is set to bring great good and good service to the community of Albertville.

“Slim Chickens will bring good food and Southern hospitality to Albertville. The Slim Chickens family hopes to be a part of the Albertville community for a long time,” Price said.
