Food City's doors open to the public today at 8 a.m. It will be a first chance  for local shoppers to see all that the new grocery store has to offer -- including a Starbucks, a bakery, floral department, a pharmacy, and more. Located at Fort Payne's 'South Y,' the store's customers will exit at the traffic signal at Alabama Highway 35 and U.S. 11/Gault Avenue and enter on the northern side of the parking lot from Gault Avenue.
