Each year, Scottsboro Woman’s League has its Apple Annie sale to raise funds for local charities. For 56 years, Apple Annie Day has helped those in need.

“Please consider making a donation of purchasing apples this year. Your purchase helps Scottsboro Woman’s League support many local charities in Jackson County,” said Savannah Boykin of the Scottsboro Woman’s League.

Scottsboro Woman’s League is a 501c3 organization.

Apples will be available for purchase on Sept. 20 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations: Cadence Bank, Jackson County Courthouse and Foodland Grocery Store.

Those who can’t attend the sale can also donate to the Scottsboro Woman’s League through venmo@scottsborowomansleague.
