Brandon Rutledge loves Halloween so much that he wants to be the official face of the holiday, or at least the winner of the current “Face of Halloween” contest.
He is currently in sixth place and the top five cuts will be made this Thursday and he needs your votes!
Rutledge is a 1994 graduate of Albertville High School and a 1996 graduate of Snead State Community College in Boaz.
“I have been a lover of Halloween since I was a young boy. Decorating and Trick-or-Treats have been a drive for my love of the holiday,” Rutledge said. “Now, I work in a haunted attraction that provides a creative outlet.”
The winner of the contest will not only win $13,000 but they will get the opportunity to meet legendary horror movie stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Kane Hodder, and Matthew Lillard. It is also a fundraiser for the Starlight Children’s Foundation providing services for hospitalized children.
“I have been involved in children’s programs for many years. I love working with children,” he continued. “I would donate part of my winnings back to Starlight. The money would come in handy for some ongoing house projects we have.”
Voting for the Top 5 ends Thursday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.
