For one of the hottest Halloweens most could remember, thousands turned out in full force and full costume for Halloween tricks and treats.
Monster Mash at the Mill took place inside Old Mill Park in downtown Boaz. The free family-centered event had costume contests, games and of course, free candy.
Hundreds showed up for the yearly event and walked the track for the Scarecrow Trail that will be up until this weekend.
Sand Mountain Spooktacular Trunk or Treat event was a first for the Sand Mountain Amphitheater and brought in thousands of trick or treaters throughout the evening.
Lines of eager families visited dozens of decorated trunks lined up inside the American Complex Parking Lot for lots of games, candy and surprises.
This was the first year to hold the city’s Halloween festivities somewhere other than the streets of downtown Albertville.
