FORT PAYNE, Ala.- Fort Payne Senior Alex McPherson who is ranked the number one kicker in the Class of 2022, has recently committed to Auburn University.
McPherson announced his commitment on Tuesday via the social media platform, Instagram.
McPherson received offers from numerous colleges such as Florida, Georgia, and Texas A&M.
After attending Auburn’s Spring game, McPherson returned to Auburn for an official visit in June.
Alex is the younger brother of Evan McPherson who recently was drafted in the fifth round by the Cincinnati Bengals.
