Investigation leads to three arrests, stolen vehicle found

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. — According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office: On March 5th, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office took a report of a stolen vehicle from a car lot in the Kilpatrick area. After an investigation was opened within a day, investigators followed up on leads that led them to the suspect's residence in Albertville. Once investigators arrived at the residence, they found out that the vehicle had been scrapped at a scrapyard in Albertville. As a result, Marty Spence, 54; Randy Spence, 32; and Jonathan Spence, 29, all of Albertville, were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property 3rd, marijuana 2nd, and illegal possession of alcohol. Randy Spence was also charged with theft of property 1st.

Sheriff Harris says, "Thanks to the investigators for working so diligently on this case and being able to close the case within a day."
