RAINSVILLE, Ala. — In a Special Meeting called by Rainsville Mayor Rodger Lingerfelt, the City Council voted to change the meeting times to 4:15 pm for the Workshop and 5 pm for the regular meeting.

The schedule change passed with a role-call vote, with Marshall Stiefel the only vote against.

The council also approved a sewer contract with the Town of Sylvania, and the clerk and revenue officers to go to conferences.

The council then went into executive session to discuss a private personnel matter regarding a city employee.
