Alexandria Shuts Out Crossville

CROSSVILLE, Ala. —The Crossville Lions fell to the Alexandria Valley Cubs, 54-0 on Friday night. 

In the first quarter, Crossville was driving down the field, but fumbled the ball. The Valley Cubs took advantage and scored with 8:38 remaining in the first.  The extra point attempt was good, giving Alexandria the early 7-0 advantage.  Alexandria went on to score two more touchdowns in the first quarter, to have the 21-0 advantage.

In the second quarter, the Valley Cubs scored three unanswered touchdowns to broaden their lead to 41-0, going into the half.

In their third quarter, the Cubs scored two more touchdowns to make the final score, Alexandria 54, Crossville Lions, 54-0.

Crossville will host Springville (2-3, 0-3) for Homecoming this week.
