The National Federation of Independent Businesses has recently handed down endorsements to State Legislative candidates.

A nonpartisan, nonprofit association, NFIB has 350,000 small and independent business owners across the nation.
Senator Phil Williams, with a 100% voting record on pro small business issues, was among those endorsed.
DeKalb GOP Candidates swept the endorsements:
- State Senate District 8 Steve Livingston
- State Senate District 9 Clay Scoefield
- State Senate District 10 Phil Williams
- State House District 23 Tommy Hanes
- State House District 24 Nathaniel Ledbetter
- State House District 27 Will Ainsworth
- State House District 29 Becky Nordgren
