CENTRE, Ala. — According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver: Deputies with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant and arrest warrants on Thursday, March 1, 2018, for 18 year-old Robert S. Givens on South River Street in Centre, as the result of a drug investigation.
The suspect was taken into custody on two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies also discovered marijuana at the residence, and Givens was additionally charged for unlawful possession of marijuana. He was transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
