RAGLAND, Ala. — The Valley Head Tigers were defeated by the Ragland Devils 47-6 on Friday.

The Devils scored on their first possession with 10:04 remaining in the first quarter. Valley Head went three-and out. The Devils scored their second touchdown of the night with 4:43 left in the first, giving the Devils the 14-0 advantage. The Tigers went three-and-out again. The Devils scored once again with 1:43 remaining in the first quarter.

In the second, the Devils scored with 11:35 remaining to broaden their lead to 21-0. The Tigers came up short on fourth down and turned it over on downs. The Devils scored on their next possession with a 55-yard touchdown run to stretch the lead to 27-0. Valley Head turned it over again on downs, and Ragland scored again with 1:43 left in the first half, to make the score 34-0.

In the third quarter, the Tigers scored their only touchdown of the night with a 5-yard run by Tony Phillips. The Tigers went for two but failed, making the score 34-6.

The Devils went on to score two more times in the fourth quarter to make the final score, 47-6.

Valley Head will host R.A Hubbard on Friday night.
