Two DeKalb County Deputies Graduate Jefferson County Sheriff's Academy

FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce the graduation of Seth Cagle and David Stanley from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Academy.

The Graduation was held Sunday April 9th at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center. This Academy is a 14 month every other weekend academy and it takes a lot of time and dedication to complete. The Academy had a total of 27 students to graduate, among those there was 14 from a Sheriff’s Office and 13 from a Police Department. Students hailed from all over the State.

DeKalb County Sheriff Harris stated, “I want to congratulate Deputies Cagle and Stanley, I know they will do an outstanding job for the citizens of our county.”
