Cherokee Co. makes arrest in connection with four burglaries

CENTRE, Ala. — Cherokee County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested a couple in the Rock Run Community on Tuesday, October 31st, 2017, in connection with 4 burglaries.

According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Scott F. Wade, 44, and his wife, Veronica D. Wade, 47, of a County Road 793 address, were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center on 4 counts of third degree burglary, first degree theft of property, 2 counts of second degree theft of property, third degree theft of property, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Investigators executed a search warrant at the Wade residence and recovered a large amount of the stolen property from the burglaries.
