FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The following are reported incidents, arrests, and accidents from the Fort Payne Police Department for Monday, October 9 – Thursday, October 12.

MONDAY, October 9

Reported Incidents (10/9)
- Theft of Property – Occurred at 601 Greenhill Blvd NW, $131.00 in currency was taken
- Theft of Property – Occurred at 1610 Grand Ave SW, a Wave Sport Recon kayak and a Dagger Fisher kayak were taken, valued at $1298.00
- Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle – Occurred at 912 Railroad Ave SE, a window on a Toyota Rav 4 was damaged and a clutch kit was taken, valued at $400.00
- Damaged Vehicle – Occurred at 1302 Gault Ave N , a quarter panel on a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu was damaged, valued at $100.00
- Theft of Property – Occurred at 607 Alabama Ave NW, Alabama tag 28CA375 and a Toyota emblem were taken, valued at $176.33
- Reckless Endangerment/Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 6301 Oakhill Road NE, brake lines were damaged on a car, valued at $150.00
- Theft of Property – Occurred at 412 Glenn Blvd SW, a sensor on a 2005 Toyota Camry was taken, valued at $100.00
Reported Arrests (10/9)
- Phillip Larry Morris Jr, age 32 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested for DUI at 4:52 am
- Kathy Diane McPherson, age 60 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Warrant for Outside Agency at 11:13 am
- Johnny Ray Elkins, age 26 of Valley Head, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 5:54 pm
- Mallory Anjanette Orr, age 30 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 5:54 pm
- Christopher Wayne Roden, age 29 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement was 9:20 pm
Reported Accidents (10/9)
- An accident occurred at Gault Ave N and 3rd Street N, Eleasa Jo Sword, age 60 of Mentone, driving a 1995 Toyota Landrover, struck Caleb Barnell Curtis, age 25 of Harvest, driving a 2013 Freightliner. Sword was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.

TUESDAY, October 10

Reported Incidents (10/10)
- Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 400 3rd Street SE, a tire on a Ford Focus was damaged, valued at $100.00
- Illegal Possession of Credit/Debit Card – Occurred at 3508 Grand Ave SW, charges of $106.00 were made without authorization
Reported Arrests (10/10)
- Robert Lee McKinney, age 29 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Violation of Bond Release at 1:22 am
- Jason Paul Beagles, age 37 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of a Concealed Weapon without a Permit at 1:27 pm
- Jonathan Gary Odom, age 34 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Two Warrants for Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Marijuana at 11:30 am
- Mason Delane Gregory, age 22 of Mentone, was arrested for Resisting Arrest and a Warrant for Burglary at 3:32 pm
- Todd Lamar Harris, age 55 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Resisting Arrest at 3:36 pm
- A 16 year old juvenile male of Fort Payne was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Dekalb County Juvenile Pick Up Order at 3:32 pm

- Burglary – Occurred at 1909 Watkins Ave NE, items taken were a coin jar with coins, $30.00 in currency, Apple IPhone, ZTE cell phone, Apple IPad, RCA 26” TV, two Xboxes, 55” Phillips TV, Nike bag, Rayban sunglasses, 6” cable, six Polo hats, and three credit cards, valued at $4351.0
- Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 2909 Gault Ave N, three torque wrenches and a Rubbermaid cart were taken, and carpet was damaged, valued at $1400.00
- Duty Upon Striking an Unoccupied Vehicle – a fender and bumper on a KIA were damaged, valued at $800.00
- Damaged Property – Occurred at 809 Williams Ave NE, a wooden bed frame was damaged, valued at $300.00
- Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle – Occurred at 204 B Bear Creek Road NE, a Glock handgun was taken, valued at $400.00

- Victor Bernard Lyles, Jr, age 19 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Burglary and three warrants for Failure to Appear at 1:33 pm
- Gabriel Rose Starkey, age 18 of Rainsville, was arrested for Burglary at 1:33 pm
- Justin Cornelius McElrath, age 22 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Burglary at 1:33 pm
- Kaleb Austin Hughes, age 18 of Rainsville, was arrested for Burglary at 1:33 pm
- Hailey Elizabeth Walters, age 40 of Flat Rock, was arrested for Failure to Appear at 3:53 pm
- Marcus Laquon Maddox, age 22 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency at 7:02 pm
