FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The following are reported incidents, arrests, and accidents from the Fort Payne Police Department for Friday, Oct. 6 – Sunday, Oct. 8.

FRIDAY, October 6

• Reported Incidents (10/6)
  • Theft of Property – Occurred at 611 Godfrey Ave SE, a Dewalt grinder was taken, valued at $160.00
  • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, miscellaneous merchandise was taken, valued at $147.07
• Reported Arrests (10/6)
  • Jessica Denise Wood, age 35 of Valley Head, was arrested on a Warrant for No Tag at 2:30 am
  • Lukeus Marion Traylor, age 34 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Theft of Property at 7:12 am
  • Cody Alexander Dove, age 25 of Flat Rock, was arrested for Theft of Property at 2:18 pm
  • Kayla Michelle Jackson, age 24 of Flat Rock, was arrested for Theft of Property at 2:18 pm
  • Andrea Deanne Hurst, age 37 of Sylvania, was arrested on Two Charges of Illegal Possession of Credit/Debit Card and Theft of Property at 3:13 pm
  • John Lexington Prickett, age 26 of Chattanooga, was arrested for Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Promoting Prison Contraband at 11:25 pm

  • Duty Upon Striking an Unoccupied Vehicle – Occurred at 2001 Glenn Blvd SW, a fender on a 2011 Toyota Camry was damaged, valued at $500.00

SUNDAY, October 8

  • Burglary – Occurred at 2101 Owen Drive NE, a Visio TV, a DVD player, Samsung Tablet, three social security cards, three birth certificates, Apple I Phone and one hundred DVD’s were taken, valued at $1250.00
• Reported Arrests (10/8)
  • David Byron Womack, age 41 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and a Warrant for Outside Agency at 1:26 am
  • Jose Andres Francisco, age 31 of Fort Payne, was arrested for DUI at 1:46 am
  • Ronald Charles Gibson, age 42 of Valley Head, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 10:19 pm
  • Johnny Wayne Griggs, age 49 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Concealed Weapon without a Permit and a Warrant for Outside Agency at 9:29 pm
  • Justin Lance Keef, age 25 of Valley Head, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 10:19 pm
