Several arrested after house party broken up in Fort Payne

FORT PAYNE, Ala. — According to the Fort Payne Police Department: In the early morning hours of October 1st, officers were dispatched to the area of 1700 Williams Avenue to check a suspicious vehicle.  The officers observed a hand gun in plain site of the front passenger seat and center console of the vehicle. A caller had advised that two male subjects had exited the vehicle and walked toward the backyard of 1608 Godfrey Ave N. Officers then went to 1608 Godfrey Ave N to locate the driver of the suspicious vehicle.

Officers made contact with the owner of the vehicle and had him come to the front door of the residence.  Officers observed in plain site numerous containers of alcoholic beverages and several subjects that appeared to be under the legal drinking age of 21.

Five were arrested at the residence for Allowing Minors to Consume Alcohol, they were Marilu Domingo age 21 of Hanceville, Eduardo Hidrogo age 22 of Valley Head, Jose Plasencia age 21 of Valley Head, Jerome Techlowec age 25 of Fort Payne, and Jose Esteben age 24 of Fort Payne.

 Those arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol were Julio Plasencia age 19 of Valley Head, Elijah Tharp age 20 of Fort Payne, Mariah Orr age 20 of Collinsville, Christopher Shipman age 19 of Rainsville, and Elija Bradley age 18 of Fort Payne.

Also arrested were three juveniles under the age of 18. Chief Bynum states these types of parties will not be tolerated when adults allow minors to consume alcohol.
