FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The following are reported incidents, arrests, and accidents from the Fort Payne Police Department for Friday, September 22 – Sunday, September 24.

FRIDAY, September 22

• Reported Incidents (9/22)
  • Theft of Property – Occurred at 306 Murdock Road NE, baby clothes were taken, valued at $60.00
  • Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle – Occurred at 106 45th Street NE, a 2005 KIA Optima was taken, valued at $5000.00
• Reported Arrests (9/22)
  • John Clifford Carter, age 50 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Fugitive from Justice at 3:29 am
  • Catherine June Speth, age 42 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Two Warrants for Failure to Appear at 3:51 am
  • Johnathan David Noblitt, age 43 of Albertville, was arrested for Public Intoxication at 4:37 am
  • Doyle Franklin Buffington, age 53 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Two Warrants for Theft of Services and Theft of Property at 10:25 am
  • Thomas Michael Guest, age 30 of Fort Payne, was on a Warrant for Outside Agency at 5:15 pm

SATURDAY, September 23

• Reported Incidents (9/23)
  • Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 1800 Gault Ave N, two AT&T phone lines and wiring box, a cable line box and wiring, two air conditioner units and fuse boxes, and a glass pane door were damaged, valued at $3300.00
  • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, 13 packs of Pokemon cards, and two packs NFL cards were taken, valued at $42.12
  • Theft of Property – Occurred at 100 1st Street W, two checks were taken, valued at $5005.00
• Reported Arrests (9/23)
  • Kathy Diane McPherson, age 59 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Two Charges of Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 12:35 am
  • Jose Luis Aguilar, age 27 of Woodville, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 1:04 am
  • Robert Wayne McClanahan, age 51 of Trenton, was arrested for Theft of Property at 10:16 am
  • Johnny Ray Elkins, age 26 of Valley Head, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency at 9:48 pm
• Reported Accidents (9/23)
  • An accident occurred at Adamsburg Road SE and Lakeview Drive E, a 16 year old juvenile female driving a 2008 Ford Mustang left the roadway and struck a utility pole, the driver and a 16 year old female passenger were transported to DeKalb Regional by DeKalb Ambulance Service.

  • Theft of Property – Occurred at 1412 Glenn Blvd SW, a cable box was taken, valued at $100.00
  • Theft of Property – Occurred at 912 Gault Ave N, a Jerry mountain bike was taken, valued at $400.00

  • Allison Taylor Jones, age 22 of Rainsville, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 12:46 am
  • Kaleb Austin Hughes, age 18 of Rainsville, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 12:46 am
  • Timothy Chase Sanders, age 20 of Collinsville, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 1:56 am
  • Terrence James Bridgewater, age 21 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Carrying a Concealed Pistol without a Permit at 1:56 pm
  • Joshua Tyler Blansit, age 21 of Valley Head, was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear at 2:10 pm
  • Shelia Jo Taylor, age 48 of Dawson, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Prescriptions Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Warrant for Outside Agency at 10:07 pm
