Fort Payne Wins 8th Sectional Title

SCOTTSBORO, Ala.-- With 167 combined points, the Fort Payne Varsity Girls won their 8th straight Sectional Championship at the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 6A, Section 4 meet at Trammell Stadium this weekend. 

The Scottsboro Lady Wildcats finished second in the girl's state qualifier with 117 points. 

Fort Payne Varsity Boys placed seventh overall in sectionals with 51 points.
