FYFFE, Ala. — Incumbent Paul Cagle has announced his intention to seek re-election as Mayor of Fyffe.
Cagle has served as Mayor since 2016. Before his election as mayor, he served on the Fyffe Town Council for four years.
During his first term as Mayor, Cagle touts several accomplishments, including a new splash pad, a new roof at the senior center, sidewalk extensions, rebuilding the park pavilion, and speed tables around the school. He also helped facilitate several grants to the community, including support for the fire and police departments, and a grant to improve the highway, which supports local industries.
Cagle is married to Patricia Kennamer Cagle, and they have four children and eight grandchildren. He worked at Farmers Telecommunications Cooperative (FTC) for 41 years. Cagle is an alumnus of Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC), where he studied Business Management.
