RAINSVILLE, Ala. — After returning home for the first time in two weeks, a Rainsville man found a naked man in his living room.

On Thursday, January 14, the Rainsville Police Department arrested Michael Lynn May (37 of Boaz), who has been charged with drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and third-degree burglary.

When the McCurdy Avenue homeowner discovered the unwelcome visitor, he called the police.

May told officers that he did not know how long he had been at the home and he didn't know the homeowner. He also told officers that he had taken several Xanax pills.

May is currently being held in the DeKalb County Jail without bond.
