GERALDINE, Ala. — Amidst a growing number of COVID-19 cases across Alabama, a local bank has elected to re-close its lobby to the public.
Liberty Bank, which is headquartered in Geraldine, will operate its lobbies by appointment only. Teller services will continue to be provided through the drive-thru, including on Saturdays. Masks will also be required for customers that enter Liberty Bank branches in coordination with Gov. Kay Ivey's (R-Ala.) recent mask mandate.
"We will always do what's right for our customers and our staff," said Liberty Bank in a statement via social media. "In this situation, the right thing to do is to keep our customers, our employees, and our communities healthy, and to keep Liberty Bank a safe place to do business."
Liberty Bank has six locations across northeast Alabama including in Geraldine, Albertville, Crossville, Collinsville, Snead, and Sardis. Hours for all branches are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and on Saturday via drive-thru only from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
