Woman arrested for meth and spice at Scottsboro motel

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office: On Friday February 23, 2018, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit received information of possible drug activity at a local motel on Micah Way (near Walmart) in Scottsboro, Alabama.

Narcotics Investigators went to the location where a search of a room was conducted along with a search of a vehicle belonging to the occupant of the room. During the search of the vehicle Investigators located Methamphetamine, Synthetic Cannabinoids (Spice) and Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrested in connection with this investigation was Sandy LeAnn Chambers age 25 of Sulligent, Alabama who was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances-(Methamphetamine), Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances-(Spice) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Chambers remains in the Jackson County Jail on $10,300 bond.
