FORT PAYNE, Ala.-- Fort Payne emergency responders are facing off for a lifesaving cause and would like you to join in the fun. 

The first-ever Fort Payne Battle of the Badges blood drive will be held on Thursday, June 2, from 8 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at  Fort Payne Fire Station #1.  The station is located at 200 14th St NE Fort Payne. 

The competition encourages community members to give blood and vote for their favorite, the police department or the fire department.

Those who donate will receive a Battle of the Badge t-shirt.
