RPD Makes Arrests in Citywide Saturation

RAINSVILLE, Ala. — According to Rainsville Police Chief Michael Edmondson: On Thursday, March 11, the Rainsville Police Department completed a citywide saturation that resulted in several arrests.

After receiving complaints about possible drug activity, officers visited a house within the city limits where five were arrested on drug-related charges, and a sixth person was arrested for felony warrants with an outside agency.

The following people were arrested:

  • Jesse Jones Outlaw: Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Receiving Stolen Property 4th
  • Terrick Delayne Jones: Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Receiving Stolen Property 4th
  • Adam Wesley Coots: Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Kenneth McAnnely: Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (x2), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Amanda Matthews: Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Megan Neikcole Gamble was arrested on Outstanding Felony warrants for Chemical Endangerment of a Child and was transported to the Jackson County Jail.

From the house, officers confiscated methamphetamine, marijuana, illegal steroids, several items used as paraphernalia, and several stolen street signs.

"I am proud of the work of my officers and encourage the citizens of Rainsville to let us know if they see something that needs to be checked out," said Chief Edmondson. "If you see something, say something!"
