HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — For the first time ever, the Alabama State Games introduced the Ninja Challenge. 12-year-old Aubriella Hairston recently won at last week’s event in the Kids’ Division. 

The ASF Foundation was founded in 1982 at the request of the United States Olympic Committee. In addition to developing the Alabama State Games, an annual Olympic-style sporting event for the state of Alabama showcasing the tradition and ceremony of the International Summer and Winter Olympic Games, the ASF Foundation serves as a statewide mentor organization for teaching our youth the importance of academics, athletics, healthy lifestyles, and good citizenship.

Hairston was also the Regional Qualifier to advance to the Ultimate Ninja Athletic Association (UNAA) World Series Championship in Mystic Lake, Mo. this July. 

According to www.ultimateninja.net, the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA), is the officialy Global League of World OCR for Ninja Competitions. UNAA promotes and organizes an international series at Ninja Obstacle course Gyms and competitions across the world. The UNAA World Series includes Area Qualifiers, Regional Qualifiers and the Ultimate Ninja World Championship Finals each year.

Aubriella is the daughter of Royce Chris Hairston and Rhea Armstrong Krueger.
