Nov. 13, 2015 - RED BAY, Ala.—The defending 2A State Champion Fyffe Red Devils defeated the Red Bay Tigers 14-7 tonight to advance to the Quarterfinals of the AHSAA 2A State playoffs.

Dylan Kilpatrick was the leading rusher for the Red Devils. The game was scoreless until Fyffe scored a touchdown and extra point with about 4:50 left in the 3rd quarter. Fyffe held their lead through the end of the 4th quarter, putting another 7 points on the board with 1:58 left in the game.

Red Bay responded 1 minute and 15 seconds later, scoring their first and only touchdown with 43 seconds left in the game. The Tigers tried for an onside kick but were unsuccessful.

Fyffe will face the Ranburne Bulldogs next Friday, Nov. 20 in the Quarterfinals of the 2A State Playoffs

Ranburne narrowly defeated Tanner at the end of 2 overtime periods with a final score of 56-55. The Ranburne Bulldogs will advance to the 2A Quarterfinals to face DeKalb County's Fyffe Red Devils next Friday, Nov. 20.
