HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Last weekend, the Fort Payne Wildcats Wrestling Team participated in the 5A-6A Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) state tournament.

Fort Payne, led by Coaches Austin Panell, Ethyn Holbrook, and Terrell Davis, had 10 state qualifiers: David Miguel, Jax Cyrus, Hayden Davis, Cole Blalock, Parker Wilson, Dawson Williams, Arturo Rodriguez, Noah Tidmore, Riley Kuhn, and T.J. Tate.

Fort Payne had a fifth place finish out of 58 schools in competition. Congratulations to the Fort Payne Wildcats Wrestling Team and coaches!
