GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. — The Fyffe Red Devils defeated the Brindlee Mountain Lions 54-6 on Friday night.

Less than a minute into the game, Fyffe scored and then added three more touchdowns at the  8:48, 7:28, and 6:22 mark of the first quarter, going up 35-0. Before the half, Fyffe had the astounding 41-6 advantage over the Lions. 

With 4:35 remaining in the third, the Red Devils had the 48-6 advantage and closed out the game 54-6.

Several players scored for the Red Devils. Kyle Dukes had two touchdowns. Eli Benefield, Brodie Hicks, Will Edge, Hunter Machen, and Hunter Gillian all had a touchdown apiece.  

Ike Rowell went 3-for-3 for a total of 125 yards and two touchdowns. 

Fyffe will host the Clarke County Bulldogs (3-0) on Friday. After an opening in their schedule for Friday night, the Bulldogs will travel over four hours to take on the Red Devils. The Bulldogs are ranked number one in Region 1. In three games, they have outscored their opponents 68-15.
