The Young Republicans of Northeast Alabama will host a "Republican Candidate Open House" on Monday night at 6:30 PM.

The  YRNEA event tag-line says,

"Come eat some fro-gurt, get hopped up on an espresso and meet the DeKalb County Republican candidates all in one place!" 

The event is expected to draw a number of GOP candidates, including:

Todd Greeson - Alabama Senate District 8

Steve Livingston - Alabama Senate District 8

Phil Williams - Alabama Senate District 10

Mary Scott Hunter - Alabama Board of Education

Philip Brown - Public Service Commission

Nathaniel Ledbetter - House District 24

Billy Hodges - House District 24

Will Ainsworth - House District 27

Rex Leath - Sheriff

Ricky Harcrow - County Commission President

Tyler Wilks - Revenue Commissioner

Royce Ladder - Revenue Commissioner

Ben West - County Commission District 4

Randy Peppers - DeKalb Board of Education District 1

The event is free to the public and everyone is invited to attend. No membership is required.
