RAINSVILLE, Ala. — Former councilman Bejan Taheri has won the race for Rainsville City Council Place 2. Taheri defeated D.L. Stiefel with 61 percent of the vote.

D.L. Stiefel received 39 percent of the vote, with 1633 total ballots cast.
