FORT PAYNE, Ala.—There was a shooting tonight at approximately 8 p.m. at Wal-Mart in Fort Payne. Law enforcement at the scene reported that the victim is in critical condition and is being airlifted to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. Police have apprehended the suspect and wanted to emphasize that the public is not in danger.
