Several Arrested in DTF Saturation

By Staff Reports

FORT PAYNE, Ala. Over the last weekend (February 1st – 3rd) DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies and Drug Task Force agents conducted a saturation in several areas of DeKalb County.

Agents and deputies conducted traffic stops, investigated suspicious persons, and concerned citizen complaints in the Adamsburg, Dogtown, Mt. Vernon, Cartersville, and Ider areas.

DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said: “This was a random weekend patrol saturation targeting Lookout Mountain and the North end of the county. We are pleased in the results of these saturations.”

“I want to encourage citizens of this county to continue providing us with crime related tips so we can continue to target areas as needed,” he said.

“Thanks to all our Deputies and towns who helped with this saturation,” added Welden.
