BE ON THE LOOKOUT: Work release Inmate Missing in Sylvania

SYLVANIA, Ala. — UPDATE: (November 14, 3:35 pm) Christopher Jones was captured at approximately 3:15 pm on County Road 683 near Sylvania without incident. The subsequent BOLO was cancelled. 

Shortly after 11:oo am, a work release inmate walked off the job from F.G. Lumber in Sylvania. Law enforcement across DeKalb County has put out a Be-On-the-Lookout for the subject.

Christopher Jones is described as 6 feet tall, 135 pounds, brown hair, Green Eyes, and a tattoo on the left side of his neck. He was last seen wearing a blue fleece zip-up sweatshirt, blue jeans, and camouflage boots. The subject is not believed to be dangerous, but use caution and do not approach.
