GERALDINE, Ala. — Incumbent Councilman Stanley Rooks fended off a challenge from Joseph "Joey" Satterfield on Tuesday night's runoff in the Town of Geraldine.

Rooks received 88 votes to Satterfield's 79. 

The runoff occurred after both candidates received 111 votes each in the initial municipal election in August. After all seven (7) provisional ballots were thrown out the week after, the race went to a runoff.
