HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) advises motorists that the new bridge on Alabama 117 over the West Fork of Little River in Mentone is now open to traffic.

Motorists are advised that single-lane closures will be possible at times, as some work items remain to be completed. Please continue to use caution and reduce speed when traveling through the work zone.

Wright Brothers Construction Co. of Charleston, Tenn. is the contractor on the $5.7 million bridge project that began in February 2018.
