FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The following are reported incidents, arrests, and accidents from the Fort Payne Police Department for Friday, October 7 – Sunday, October 9.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7

  • An accident occurred at Glenn Blvd SW and Cedarwood Drive SW, Sharon E Hartline, age 58 of Trenton, driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, struck James Fletcher, age 60 of Collinsville, driving a 2008 Ford F150. Hartline was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.
  • An accident occurred at Gault Ave N and 19th Street NW, Richard Brown, age 68 of Fort Payne, riding a bicycle struck Tiffany Reynolds Lee, age 37 of Gaylesville, driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan struck.  Brown was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8

  • Theft of Property – Occurred at 900 Forest Ave NW, three boxes of antiques were taken, valued at $300.00
  • Theft of Property – Occurred at 219 Gault Ave S, twenty miscellaneous makeup items were taken, valued at $67.23
  • Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, seven packages of makeup were taken, valued at $47.84
  • Damaged Property – Occurred at 1800 Clark Ave NE, a stop sign was damaged, valued at $100.00
  • Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 2001 Glenn Blvd SW, paint on a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse was damaged, valued at $1500.00

  • Christian Bailey Jackson, age 18 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Theft of Property at 1:18 pm
  • James Alan Craig Jr., age 33 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Theft of Property at 2:25 pm
  • Derick Anthony Stone, age 21 of Collinsville, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 10:38 pm

  • Burglary – Occurred at 1150 11th Street NW, two door frames were damaged, valued at $300.00
