BRIDGEPORT, Ala. — According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office: On Monday October 16, 2017, members of the Jackson County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Unit, Patrol Deputies and Bridgeport Police Officers executed a search warrant at the Hess Motor Inn in Bridgeport, AL. 

As a result of this search, a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located and seized along with $2,500 U.S. Currency.  Tammy Soard age 47 of Bridgeport, AL. and William Joel Soard age 56 of Section, AL. were arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both were transported to the Jackson County Jail and bond has been set at $5,300.00.
